Gentlemen:

Due to low registration with one of the Federal Battalions, we are
being asked to do double duty at the RR Cut scenario on Sunday I think it is.
It appears we have been chosen for this honor because of our
exhaulted reputation, and unusually high number of experienced commanders, and exceptional rank and file. That and we are the only ones dumb enough to do it.

So, we go in and go out and go in again, and out again. Bring lots of rounds.

THe weather cooperated and the heat was not that oppressive for the Educator's weekend. The infantry supplied three of its NCOs, a private and the unit commanding officer for station #3. We interacted with over 200 educators from around the United States - giving them an idea of what resourses exist for the teaching of the American Civil War in their schools. THe response was overwhelmingly positive and I have a feeling that we will be being contacted in the future by several of the Kentucky schools who participated.
